Mobil Satellite Technologies also offers dedicated, uncontended satellite Internet bandwidth by the hour, day, or week. Dedicated satellite service is very good for covering live events, responding to a disaster, occasional videoconferencing, video uplinks, etc. Speeds of 2MB x 1MB dedicated are available, provided that you have an adequately sized antenna and BUC.
There is a $500 annual network maintenance fee to have this Dedicated bandwidth available. There are no monthly fees unless or until you turn the service on and use it.
You can also select one of our shared service plans and have an active shared Internet service all month, along with a monthly bill. Then have the ability buy an hour or two of dedicated bandwidth to use just when when you need it. This gives you lots of flexibility to dynamically size your service to match the demand.
For customers who maintain a standard Mobilsat shared monthly service plan, the $500 annual fee is waived, but there is a one-time Account set-up fee of $200.
